About the Wine

Aromatic skin-contact blend of varoius barrels of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat and Auxerrois from the gentle giant of Rosheim, equally known for his amiable nature as he is for his method of fermenting his wine in skips. Don’t let that fool you into thinking his wines are anything other than beautifully constructed, harmonious, balanced, and an absolute pleasure to drink. The heat of 2019 has given some real concentration to these latest releases.

The maceration technique really brings out the lime citrus and kerosine aromas that most Riesling-heads seek out with glee, and here they are really dialled up. On the palate there are richer, honeyed notes and a bit of edge given from some balanced volatility in the acids. Find out more.
