From Our Cellar

Here is a collection of past vintages of some of our favorites that we've been keeping aside.

Patrick Bouju
Lulu 2019

Beck-Hartweg
Lieu-Dit Rittersberg 2019

Stunning field blend from the lieu-dit of Rittersberg. Something about the granite soils here gives the wine a sort of cut glass precision - the wine is fantastically crystalline. Pretty floral aromas evoke a stroll through a rose-filled glasshouse, along with something like peaches and cream garnished with wild herbs. Brilliant! Find out more.

Ar.Pe.Pe.
Grumello Rocca de Piro Valtellina Superiore 2019

Here, fifty year old vines sit between 350 to 500 metres above sea level and the wine spends four months on skins in tini, before being pressed off to old chestnut botti to rest for a year and a half. This is a fruit-forward and less austere take on Nebbiolo. Find out more.

Georges Comte
Le Moutherot 'Sur Roche Bonive' 2008

Delicate, yet detailed Chardonnay from a cooler vintage that displays a wonderful capacity to age. The terroir of this tiny, largely forgotten region sits between Burgundy and the Jura and as such, the wine bears an expression redolent of both of those places; the limestone bed of the former and the alpine situ of the latter. Find out more.

  • Region Émagny, Doubs, France
  • Grapes Chardonnay
  • Vineyard Organic
  • Cellar Fermented with native yeasts, unfiltered & unfined, no additional sulphites

Fabio Ferracane
Aggiara 2021

Next-level sister wine to Fabio's 'Macerato' cuvée with a more refined process. Here, an extended time in amphora has imprinted a whole new textural identity on that same herbal, pithy and deep maceration of Catarratto. There is the familiar eucalyptus and salt-tinged apricot stone fruit, but here the tannins feel filed-down and beautifully fine-grained from the contact with the clay vessel. Find out more.

  • Region Marsala, Sicily, Italy
  • Grapes Catarratto
  • Vineyard Organic
  • Cellar Fermented with native yeasts, unfiltered & unfined, no additional sulphites

Partida Creus
SW Vino Dulce 2017
