Christmas Hours at the Shop

If you're calling by our Leeds shop to stock the cellar and pick up some wine for the festivities, you'll be pleased to know that as usual we will be extending our hours dramatically to make life easier!

Everything You Need To Know For Christmas 2024 Delivery Days & Opening Hours

With the festive season already jingling and twinkling in earnest, here is all you’ll need to know about ordering your wine from us this Christmas!

Here we'll be dealing exclusively with orders placed via the website to be shipped to your door. If you are looking for what is happening in-store at our Leeds shop, click here.

Place your orders by midday, Friday 20th December to guarantee delivery before Christmas Eve. Our final shipping day will be Monday 23rd, but we cannot 100% guarantee next day delivery- order ahead to be sure! Any orders placed after noon on the 23rd will be shipped on Monday 30th December.

Place your orders by midday, Monday 23rd December to guarantee delivery by New Year’s Eve. We will also be shipping on Monday 30th December but cannot guarantee next day delivery.

Our last shipping date of the year will be Tuesday 31st with orders placed by midday being delivered after the new year.
Any orders placed after this deadline will be shipped on Monday 6th January 2025 when we reopen after our winter break.

To help you make your choices you can opt for one of our three celebration-primed mixed cases, shop for gift vouchers, which make the perfect present to send on to a wine loving friend or family member, or shop the huge selection of wines we’ve picked out for this special time of year, using our side-bar filter to narrow it down to your specifics. If you are on the lookout for something extra special you can head straight to the rare bottles and older vintages from our cellar. Let's face it, this is the time of year where big bottles can come in very handy too... And if you’re just having a mooch around the site in general, we hope our new look and function will guide you to what you’re looking for. Of course we are always more than happy to offer our personal recommendations, just drop us a line!

Throughout December we’ll be shipping nationwide with a next-day delivery on orders placed before noon Monday-Thursday as usual. Expect an order placed before noon on a Friday to arrive on a Monday. Our courier is understandably stacked at this time of year so we recommend getting your orders in as early as possible! Full details on both nationwide and local shipping can be found here.

For a grower who decides to make over 30 different cuvées from his 20 hectares each year, some in quantities of just a few hundred bottles, we were never going to be able to list everything hardworking Ignasi Segui has to offer all at once. Rather, we've introduced the revolving door strategy - keeping some staples in stock and introducing a bunch of new wines on each shipment. The latest of which has just landed in time for the upcoming seasonal festivities.

Introducing Celler Comalats

We’re very pleased to introduce you to a brand new producer to our own range of imports - Celler Comalats from the Vall del Corb in Catalonia’s west.

The Bonet family have cultivated vines in and around the village of Ametlla de Segarra in the province of Lleida for over 700 years. It’s work that has been passed on from generation to generation, eventually established as Celler Comalats in the early 90s by father Jaume who, seeing the potential of their elevated and secluded location, began to farm the land with organics, obtained certification and planted varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah amongst the more typical Garnatxa and Picapoll.
