Marzagana Elementales
Echeyde 2022

Echeyde, the ancient Guanche name for El Teide, the towering central volcano of the isle, is made with 100% Listan Negro from ungrafted 100 year-old vines. A complex, multilayered perfume floats from the glass with toasted black peppercorns, dusty spices and crushed petals diffusing from a core of volcanic smoke. A delicate tannic framework and tension in the acids bind nimble black fruits, with a finish that develops over its remarkable length. Find out more.

Marzagana Elementales
El Roque 2022

Astonishing Listan Negro from some of the oldest ungrafted vines at Marzagana, braided in the cordón trenzado over a staggering 250 years. As you might imagine, yields are painfully low but the quality of fruit is next-level. Incredibly silky and fluid in texture, the tannins are present, but filed down to a very fine grain. Fruit is fresh berries and cherry, all wrapped in in hallmark notes of bonfire smoke, sea sale and those charcoal bitters. Find out more.

Marzagana Elementales
Higa 2022

Higa is all salt on the Atlantic sea breeze and scorched charcoal minerality, making for a more savoury, saline expression. The delicate tannins stand like a sort of intricate, skeletal framework around the wine, where earthy elements meld with secondary notes from the time in barrel, the fruit feeling less to the fore.
