About the Wine

The maceration technique really brings out the lime citrus and kerosine aromas that most Riesling-heads seek out with glee, and here they are really dialled up. On the palate there are richer, honeyed notes and a bit of edge given from some balanced volatility in the acids. Two weeks on the skins with a very soft extraction followed by maturation in big old foudre for one year. A wonderful way with this grape.

Finisterra Macération 2019

The varied skin colours of the blend of grapes here give this orange wine a sultry blush tint. Something tea-like comes to mind with the soft, grippy mouthfeel and the sapid, aromatic fruits make for a wine that is as atypical as it is intriguing. Dreyer never fails. Find out more.
