About the Wine

One of the more musky, exotic orange wines we list, this is a non-vintage, extended 8-month maceration of Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris; the latter grape's skins lending the wine its destinctive blush colour, and hence its name (even though this is technically an orange wine, not a rosé...). The aromas that spring from the glass have something of the wildflower meadow about them - heady lily, spring blossoms, rose petals... the fruit is also appropriately tropical; grapefruit, lychee, quince. Like many wines with such a perfumed profile, there is a balancing bitterness on the finish. It's thrilling stuff with so much intrigue, and a world away from what many consider to be typical.

This non-vintage blend combines the 2018, 19 & 20 vintages.
