Now that Spring is upon us heralding the end of the endless winter mist we thought it time to put together a selection of natural wines fit for the Season. Light, bright, fresh, aromatic, sensual: these are the bottles we reach for at this time of year.
A blend of just about every white grape variety you'll find in this part of the world, it serves as a great approximation of the style of wine we love the Ardèche for. 'Liquid food' as someone once succinctly put it. Find out more.
From Wildman to Sensual... this is an altogether less unruly example of Anton's particularly tropical-leaning brand of Sauvignon Blanc. Fragrant, with a subtle kind of blackcurrant leaf aspect and rounded, supple texture. Find out more.

Highly unconventional Margaret River stylings here with this descriptively-named red and white mix of Sauvignon Blanc with Shiraz. In light, chillable red territory, here the red coulis fruits are elevated with herbaceous vim. Incomparable and all the better for it - if it tastes this good, why not? Find out more.

Ripe, textural Sauvignon Blanc full of vibrant acids and that hallmark Ardèche rusticity and charm. Ripe and textural with layers of tropical fruits, spices and a bright mineral backbone from the limestone. This year the wine is dry and clear-cut, with smoky peaches, tinned pineapple and citrus oils coaxed out by the southern heat. A nourishing country wine with plenty of Mazel soul. Find out more.

Less steely and with softer edges than his more classical staple 'La Pente de Chavigny', this feels open and expressive, but never anything other than laser-beam linear. Juicy green apple, elderflower and ripe pear come together in a salivating meld, with a line of raw lemon citrus cutting it all through - without intervention, none of Mikaël’s whites complete malolactic, giving the wine some good vibrancy and edge.
