Immediately satisfying and incrediby easy-going pét-nat of Colombard, clocking in at an inviting 8.5% ABV. Aromatically, this fizz just jumps from the glass with layers of ripe apple, sweet melon, lemon zest and fleshy white peach. On the palate there is a moreish off-dry sweetness balanced with a laser beam of acidity and thirst-quenching bubble. The label says it all with this one, it’s a bottle for good times with friends and certainly not one to be taken too seriously.
Made with 100% Colombard from dry land trellised vines planted on decomposed granite soils. The grapes are hand-harvsted and begin fermentation in stainless steel vats before being bottled under crown cap where to complete fermentation - capturing those bubbles, pét- nat style! The bottles are disgorged after 10months and just a whisper of sugar remains, leaving the wine with a satisfying balance of sugar, acidity and fizz.
