About the wine

Wonderfully vibrant and endlessly energetic fruit-bomb red which feels like bottled Mallorcan sunshine. Made with a blend of Syrah and Moscatell, expect bursts of red cherries, strawberries and cranberries with a peachy lift and floral perfume lingering in the background. It’s a bottle that begs to be thrown in the ice bucket on a hot summer’s day. Immediately satisfying and very easy to get along with.

Co-planted Syrah and Moscatell are hand harvested before undergoing a 9 day carbonic maceration. The grapes are foot crushed and slowly pressed for 24 hours. Aged in stainless steel to retain all the fruitiness and freshness possible.

About Jugo Vins

Charlie Prymaka has worked in wine for over a decade from NYC to London, but twice a year Charlie packed up and did a vintage somewhere. After vintages in the US, Australia, and Spain; he settled in the beautiful island of Mallorca in 2019. After working with and learning from local winemaker Cati Ribot, Charlie Prymaka started his own project ‘Jugo Vins’ in 2020 with his partner Lauren Duttenhofer. They work with fruit from organic farmers around the island and focus mainly on Mallorcan indigenous varietals.

The aim here is to create fresh, fun, easy wines that don’t take themselves too seriously. Glou-glou wines that can be thrown in the ice bucket and enjoyed in the sunshine. As Charlie says ‘Wines for whenever!’. Charlie also has a wine shop ‘CAV’ in the city of Palma, we highly recommend checking it out on your jollies!
