About the Wine

An elegant blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir. The Gamay comes from Daniel’s own vines in Bogy, the Pinot from Vincent Fargier of Les Deux Terres in southern Ardèche.
The Gamay macerates and infuses in the free run juice of the Pinot Noir; this incredibly delicate winemaking method allows Daniels signature lightness of touch to be on full show. The resulting wine is elegant and layered, with the 2022 pouring deeper in colour than previous vintages and feeling slightly fuller. Iron-like minerality is met with Pinot fruitiness.
