About the Wine

A fragrant blend of Merlot and Carignan. The Merlot comes from grower Vincent Fargier of Les Deux Terres in southern Ardèche, the Carignan from Gérald and Jocelyne Oustric of Le Mazel in Valvignères, a village in the southern Ardèche.
Made using a blend of both direct press and macerated fruit. The wine shows beautifully plump cherry fruit, flowers, anise and a touch of spice sitting beside rustic yet soft tannins. Structured, lively and drinkable with an iron-like minerality and mouth-watering acidity. Beautiful now, sure to only get better with time.
