100% Merlot made using grapes from Vincent Fargier of Les Deux Terres in Villeneuve-de-Berg, towards the south of the Ardèche. The grapes undergo a 3 weeks whole bunch maceration in some free run juice before being transferred to barrel for 10 months aging.
Textured with brambly, sumptuous fruits sitting beside a waft of dried herbs and a hint of green stalkiness. Who knew Merlot could be this good?
