About the wine

Light as a feather pét-nat of Grolleau Noir, bursting with all things fresh pink fruit. Think cranberries, tart strawberries and under-ripe cherries, all bound together with fresh coil of acidity and thirst-quenching bubbles. One that offers freshness, poise and elegance in abundance, the perfect aperitif.

Working in the hamlet of Beaulieu-Sur-Layon, in the vibrant wine region of Anjou, Cedric crafts vibrant and compelling wines which truly speak to the health of the vines and the hard work undertaken in the vineyard. For the 2023 iteration of Somnambulles Rose, the grapes were direct-pressed, giving the wine a beautiful pale pink colour. Made pét-nat style, the juice is bottled part-way through fermentation and left on the lees for just a few months before being disgorged. Retaining freshness and keeping the wine as fruit-forward as possible. Wonderfully balanced and incredibly easy to drink, watch the bottle quickly empty!
