From a parcel planted with fifty year old vines over marl in the Jura’s Sud Revermont, this is a direct press of Savagnin vinified in the Burgundian or ‘ouillé’ style and aged in Georgian qvevris. A highly original expression of grape and place, this hums with the grape’s characteristic energy, offering layers of complexity and intrigue. Whilst balancing richness with a tight line of acidity, you can expect plenty of pithy citrus, minerals, sea salt and spice before a long, elegant finish. A beautiful, age worthy wine which displays purity and detail in spades.
