About the Wine
Please note that due to very limited quantities this wine is limited to one bottle per customer.
Mico-production Jura Chardonnay from a tiny parcel of 40-year old vines plated over red clay and limestone in the prestigious ‘Les Varrons’. The grapes are pressed directly in an old vertical press and moved by gravity into a combination of foudre and demi-muids for two years of élevage. 2022 was an incredibly warm and dry vintage. The resulting wine is dense and powerful, the heat of the vintage is really felt with a weighty, rounded palate and layer upon layer of complexity. An age worthy bottle that is sure to reward drinkers for years to come.
