2021 sees a different blend for this ever-popular wine after Meryl & Géraldine lost half of their Viognier harvest to hail. As always, the wine shows concentrated, oily citrus and fleshy yellow stone fruits. La Vrille's entry white, made from younger vines of Ugni Blanc, that lesser-sung French sibling of Trebbiano. This year the grapes were harvested early, keeping things sharp, light-bodied and fresh.
