The July Warehouse Session - Saturday 15th
We're thrilled to have Loire vigneron Mikaël Bouges join us in the UK for the very first time. He’ll be the guest at our next warehouse session on Saturday July 15th, then at the wonderful Flawd in Manchester the very next day.
Based in the Touraine village of Faverolles-sur-Cher, Mikaël's distinctive wines are pure, mineral expressions of the quartz and silex-speckled limestone of the region. Also a deft hand at the ancestral method, a couple of well-loved sparkling wines sit alongside his stony sauvignons, tense chenins and smooth, deep-fruited malbecs. We'll have the entire selection of wine open with Mikaël hanging out at the bar to pour you a glass or two.
Food from @georgeandjoseph who will be extending their array of cheese-based snacks and music from our lovely resident selectors @simpatico_sessions__ , plus our guest this month will be @lovemuscleleeds Michael Upson - a known Gamay-lover who will be spinning us a chiller away from the frenzy of the dancefloor.

We’re also very excited to be taking Mikaël over the Pennines the next day to be hosted by our good friends at @flawdwine in Manchester for more of the same! Drop in any time for a glass or two and some food from the always-impeccable Flawd kitchen. That’s Sunday 16th July down at the marina, 12.30-10pm.
