A dangerously drinkable field blend of no less than 7 different local varietals from old vines in Flonheim. Grapes including Müller Thurgeau, Bacchus, Scheurebe, Huxel, Würzer, Faber, Riesling, maybe more - who knows?!
Thirst-quenching and bouncing with energy, aromatically this jumps out of the glass with all things grapefruit, waxy lemon, elderflower, ripe apple and tropical fruits.
All the grapes are harvested together and co-fermented - a proper field blend! The grapes are macerated for 4 weeks in stainless steel vats before being transferred to old foudre to rest. Super tangy and almost gluggable with a welcome bitter twist on the finish – watch the glasses empty!
