Hand-harvested Savagnin from old vines planted in 1991–1993 on clay and blue marl soils. A portion of the grapes are destemmed before undergoing a 10 day maceration in a mixture of amphora and concrete egg. The wine is then aged for 10 months. Bold, spicy and concentrated with an unmistakable energy from these beautiful old vines.
