Delicate, yet detailed Chardonnay from a cooler vintage that displays a wonderful capacity to age. The terroir of this tiny, largely forgotten region sits between Burgundy and the Jura and as such, the wine bears an expression redolent of both of those places; the limestone bed of the former and the alpine situ of the latter. As a broad stroke one could describe Les Aussigouins as a more amped-up sister to Faia - the production is the same, it is the qualities in the raw materials that make it unique.
