Didier & Jules Grappe
Tohu Bohu 2023

Barrel notes are balanced, but can be picked up on immediately - that rich butterscotch, coconut sort of character that feels to intensify the fruit. Lemon is oily, or like a dense lemon curd; bruised orchard pears, a marmalade-y pithiness and concentration and a deep-set, struck match reductions that coils off and melds into the electric acids. • Grapes Chardonnay

Didier & Jules Grappe
Champs Rouges Voile 2022

The intense, Comté-loving, oxidative sous voile style of Chardonnay. Here, over the course of almost two years, the wine aged in old oak barrels with no topping-up to form its flor. Highly savoury, the primary fruit has given way to saline flavours of toasted almond and walnut, honey and woody spices. Find out more.

Mikaël Bouges
Les Couilles d'Anes 2023

A serious wine with a silly name - Couilles d'Anes translates as 'donkey balls', a colloquial term coined by the local vigneron to describe the unusual black stones that can be found dotting the vineyard soils in certain locations. A delightfully aromatic vintage, bright cherry and bramble fruits meld with a violet perfume in the glass. Find out more.

Martin Hirsch
Roterbuckel 2023

Much like its sibling Gewurztraminer, the Roter strain gives off beautiful floral aromatics, but in a far more delicate, detailed and nuanced way. The scent of rose petals but with nothing cloying or overdone. This sense of restraint follows in to the wine too - a well-defined, chiselled feel, with fine tannic framework. Find out more.

  • Grapes Roter Traminer
  • Vineyard Organic
  • Cellar Fermented with native yeasts, unfiltered & unfined, no additional sulphites

Martin Hirsch
Tagwerk 2023

The grape most synonymous with Franken, this is one of Martin's more serious terroir wines made with 100% Silvaner. The vineyard parcel (one of Martin's oldest planted in the late 80s) sits over a particular type of limestone the region knows as Muschelkalk. Rich in fossilised shells and century old marine deposits, it is highly calcareous and imprints precision acid and minerality to the finished wine. Find out more.

Vinyes Singulars
Salinar 2023

Stunning expression of old-vine Xarel-lo, here from the Salinar vineyard planted in 1959. Tthe wine was aged in chestnut barrel and for 6 months and not topped up, allowing a gentle oxidative character to form, taking this in the direction of an Amontillado sherry - golden, honeyed with salty almond and citrus peels. Find out more.

  • Grapes Xarel-lo
  • Vineyard Fermented with native yeasts, unfiltered & unfined, no additional sulphites
