Martin Hirsch
Pet Nat 2024

Fruits are of the tarter red berry variety - blueberry, cocktail cherry and redcurrant - with distinct herbal tone, something like hibiscus. Acidity is bright, like a crunchy red apple, and there is a pleasing sweet/sour quality that keeps things refreshing and more-ish. Find out more.

Martin Hirsch
Roterbuckel 2023

Much like its sibling Gewurztraminer, the Roter strain gives off beautiful floral aromatics, but in a far more delicate, detailed and nuanced way. The scent of rose petals but with nothing cloying or overdone. This sense of restraint follows in to the wine too - a well-defined, chiselled feel, with fine tannic framework. Find out more.

Martin Hirsch
Tagwerk 2023

The grape most synonymous with Franken, this is one of Martin's more serious terroir wines made with 100% Silvaner. The vineyard parcel (one of Martin's oldest planted in the late 80s) sits over a particular type of limestone the region knows as Muschelkalk. Rich in fossilised shells and century old marine deposits, it is highly calcareous and imprints precision acid and minerality to the finished wine. Find out more.

Vom Siebenerlei 2023

A vibrant cherry red in the glass, it is a light-bodied Rotwein that demands to be served chilled. Lifted, open and fresh, the fruits meld damson and redcurrant with herbal notes of hibiscus flowers. A wine that very much gives you a feel for the deceptively long, hot summers that can be found in this lesser-sung Bavarian wine region. Find out more.
