Grape – Pinot Gris

With the sun beaming down and Summer finally feeling like it’s in full swing, we thought it was time to shout about some of our favourite kinds of wine to drink in the sun:
Pink and red chillers!
People often ask us about the lesser-known ‘red-chiller’ category, unsure of which wines best suit some time on ice. So, we thought we’d line up some of our favourites to take the guesswork out for you.
From the light, mineral driven rosé’s we know and love, to wild rosados with a little more flesh on their bones, we’ve got deep pet-nat rosé, juicy light reds and category defying field blends.
Thirst-quenching bottles best enjoyed straight from the ice bucket, drunk perfectly chilled.
That’s your picnic-wine sorted!

Ami-Amis 2022

We love a red/white blend, it brings the best of both worlds. With notes of cherries and red fruits coming from the Pinot Noir, the wine is lifted with aromatic yellow fruits and freshness from the Pinot Gris. Find out more.

Cris et Chuchotements 2023

A compact, elegant and deeply savoury macerated Pinot Gris with moreish notes of red cherry and blood orange taking centre stage before a long, salty finish. Gleaming ruby in the glass, this category defying wine falls somewhere in-between the orange and rosé wine world thanks maceration on the grapes pinkish-grey skins. Find out more.
