A thirst-quenching sparkling rosé that never seems to last long once the bottle is popped open. Aromas of apricot and acacia blossom are met with a hint of grapefruit alongside a zippy acidity.
The 2023 feels even lighter than the previous vintage – with hints of gentle blackcurrant-like fruit notes and subtle spice. As the name suggests, this one is full of summery berry fruits and is best enjoyed outdoors when le ciel est bleu (the sky is blue).
Made with a blend of Chenin Blanc, Grolleau Noir and Grolleau Gris. The juice undergoes the tiniest bit of skin contact, giving the wine a light peachy, pinky hue. Made pét-nat style, the wine is bottled halfway through fermentation, resulting in the most inviting moussey bubble. This one slips down a treat.
Summertime is a new negociant project by Sebastien Bobinet, Emeline Calvez and longtime friend Bruno Richard. The project focus’ solely on producing natural sparkling wines using organic fruit.
