About the wine
A rich, creamy, fine bubbled sparkler that showcases a more serious side of this talented winemaker. Bursts of crunchy green apple are met with a white pepper spice and a fine brioche undertone. A fizz that perfectly balances opulence with a tense, bloody mineral bite that keeps you coming back for more. In the words of Alanna herself, ‘Our best sparkling wine ever!’
Made with direct press of Pinot Noir (blanc de noir style), the wine is aged in old barrel for a year before refermenting in bottle with a splash of fresh juice from 2022. The wine is then aged on the lees in bottle for 30 months before disgorging in June 2025. A seriously elegant sekt that would keep the Champagne heads happy.

Originally from Toronto, Alanna Lagamba found herself working in wine in Berlin when she met Martin Wörner, a winemaker in the Rheinhessen. To cut a long love story short, in 2019 Alanna made her first wine, Frauen Power, from a plot of Dornfelder that Martin didn't know what to do with. Chanelling her Italian heritage, her aim was to make an German Lambrusco, and the results were delicious. In Alanna's own words: 'A self-proclaimed feminist, the idea behind the name of the wine came easily. Being so lucky as to have so many strong and powerful women in my life who inspire me every day, this wine is dedicated not only to them but to all women out there (and all who identify as such).'
