Aromatically this is a textbook example of the grape; plush, brightly-toned notes of red berries, charred capsicum and ground coffee are vibrant and upfront. On the palate the wine is glossy, with deep, sumptuous fruit and gentle bitters leading into detailed granular tannins and a stony, mineral backbone. Find out more.

A stunning example of this highly Jura-specific red grape. The wine gives off the most wonderfully exotic cinnamon and toasted peppercorn aromas, which float above a delicate, silky body of red cherry and forest berry fruits. 100% Grolleau that at a featherweight 10 degrees of alcohol falls very much into that that 'vin de soif' category we so love here at Wayward. Lots of the earthy black fruit we associate with this lesser-sung grape and the oh so delicate 2022 vintage boasts a soaring violet perfume. Serve chilled for the best results. Find out more.

A plush, glossy wine with bright aromas of cherry and raspberry, both fresh and confected, over a compact body of these gateaux-like fruits, with a subtle framboise-esque almond note hovering just out of shot. A judicious balance of grip and crunch to the finish keeps things feeling clear-cut and pure, working its magic most effectively when served with a brisk chill. Find out more.

An even split of Carignan, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. The latter feels high in the mix in the aromas, giving lovely deeps fruits, cinnamon spice and coffee grounds. The super-supple mouthfeel leads into a grippy, dry finish, seasoned with wild herbs. So typically Val in its vibrant fruit character, further impressing with its sleek, silky texture. Find out more.

Stunning blend of mainly Grenache with 10% Syrah. From the off, the colour in the glass pulls you in - a brick-tinged sunset ruby, crystalline and inviting. Perhaps the ultimate display of Fred's lightness of touch, the wine blends a lifted, complex perfume, with a confounding depth of structure that belies its appearance. Find out more.

A fabulously floaty infusion-style wine, showing the diminished tannic structure, pure fruit character and openness of aroma that can be achieved with this restrained method. Fragrant with fresh strawberries and dusty anise, the body of the wine is rounded and gravity-defying, the lightly confected red fruits and spices taking on a pillowy, compote-like quality with a dust of herby liquorice. Fred's entry-point cuvée, blending a roughly even split of almost every grape grown in the domaine, red and white, brought together in a direct-press. The resulting wine is a striking translucent ruby, sitting in that pale red, deep rosé intersection - be sure to drink this one chilled. Find out more.
This is resolutely a red wine, despite 50% of the grapes being white, such is the influence of the Syrah. The Chardonnay and Viognier keep things delightfully silky and fluid, but the red grape provides a huge aromatic lift, that somehow seems to carry itself through into the palate, which is dense with dark blackcurrant fruits and juicy, saline black olive. A wine that starts to move into the more structured, gastronomic realms, Gare du Nord once again uses the infusion technique but with a little more extraction, giving intensity and tannins that edge to the foreground. Blending a majority of Grenache with Cinsault and Syrah, there is more darkness and grip, spicy black fruits with aromas of cinnamon and capsicum. Feeling the influence of the stems a little more, the body balances trademark fluidity with structural punch. Find out more.
