Arianna's rosso version of SP68 is much more lifted and fresh than many examples of Nero d'Avola can be - the addition of Frappato giving some bright cherry crunch and wild floral aromas. Smoky, saline and with that waft of wild herbs and aniseed that is so often imprinted in the DNA of Sicilian wine. A real pleasure and a lovely taste of this special Italian island.
