We’ve had some pretty special bottles hit our online shelves this week, so we thought it was only right that we shout about it! We’ve got some brand-new additions alongside fresh vintages of old favourites, and of course the eagle-eyed will have spotted a couple of ‘blink-and-you’ll-miss-it’ gems, we can’t imagine they’ll hang about for long.
JEAN-FRANÇOIS GANEVAT ‘CUVÉE MADELON’ 2023 | Rotalier, Jura, France. Ganevat négoce blend of Gamay from Fleurie alongside native Jura varietals including Trousseau and Enfariné Noir and others. Elegant, fluid and immensely drinkable.
DOMAINE DANDELION ‘PET NAT’ 2024 | Beaune, Burgundy, France. A hazy pink, micro-production pét-nat of Pinot Noir and Gamay. Racy and textured with all that chalky minerality we know and love.
LE BATOSSAY ‘OUECH' COUSIN’ 2023 | Anjou, Loire, France. Light, bright, crunchy Grolleau, pouring a ruby red in the glass with those textbook black and blue fruits sitting beside earth and spice.
PANEVINO ‘PIKADÉ...EEE ROSSO’ 2020 | Nurri, Sardinia, Italy. A sun kissed, herbal blend of Monica & Carignano, fermented and aged in old oak barrels. A wine from an iconic producer, Gianfranco Manca, a vigneron with an unwavering commitment to terroir expression.
AJOLA ‘COSMIC BLEND’ 2023 | Orvieto, Umbria, Italy. A fragrant, pure field blend of Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Merlot & Trebbiano. Wonderfully refreshing with notes of sour cherries, blood orange, herbs and flowers.
LA PERDIDA ‘PROSCRITO’ 2023 | Larouco, Galicia, Spain. A red/white blend of Palomino & Garnacha Tintorera. Light and mineral driven with notes of blackcurrant, tart pomegranate, dark plum, pear and kiwi fruit with just a touch of spice. A wine which sings of Galicia.
LA PERDIDA ‘MALAS UVAS’ 2023 | Larouco, Galicia, Spain. A textured blend of Palomino and Doña Blanca. Rich, ripe stone fruits are met with notes of ginger, sage, walnuts and wildflowers. A wine which falls somewhere in-between the white and orange wine world.
CELLER TUETS ‘ANCESTRAL MOSCATEL’ 2023 | Aiguamúrcia, Catalonia, Spain. Pin-prick bubbled pét-nat of Moscatel d'Alexandria coming from the hills above Tarragona. Citrus, flowers and spice sit in perfect balance. Precise and thoroughly thirst-quenching.
