L’Arbre Blanc

We’ve just received a handful of bottles from iconic Auvergnat vignerons Frédéric and Caroline of L’Arbre Blanc. This tiny 1.6 hectares of land can be found nestled within the chain of extinct volcanoes that have formed in the region. The vines here are beautiful, the surrounding land teeming with plant life. It’s a testament to years of hard work from Caroline & Fred, who work the land both organically and biodynamically.

If you’re looking for wines of purity and precision that reflect the land from which they came, then look no further. These wines are sought after for good reason, with all that textbook Auvergne iron-rich minerality you would expect.

We’re very happy to have just a handful of bottles from both 2021 and 2022 growing seasons.

Les Fesses 2022 – Macerated Pinot Gris & Sauvignon Blanc

Piccolo 2022 – Direct press Sauvignon Blanc

Les Orgues 2021 – Pinot Noir

It’s also worth noting that big changes have happened in the last couple of years at L’Arbre Blanc. Now at the helm is young couple Julie and Jacob, who took over the estate in 2023 and are continuing the great work of their legendary predecessors Caroline and Fred. We can’t wait to see what happens next.
