Warehouse Sessions Return!

It's time to announce our next run of parties down at our railway arch warehouse in Leeds centre!

Saturday April 26th is the date for your diaries. This will be our third year holding these events and if you’ve joined us in the past you’ll know that it’s a winning formula: wine, music and food in the spring and summer sunshine.

Returning to kick off the new season we have our dear friend Ignasi Segui, the Catalan winemaker behind Vinyes Singulars, joining us for the day. Hailing from just south of Barcelona, Ignasi’s wines speak of the Alt Penedès and its nearby Mediterranean coast, bursting with sunrays and salt from the ocean breeze. We’ll have a huge selection of his wine open by the glass and we couldn’t think of anything we’d rather drink at this primavera time of year.

One big change is that we have new neighbours – the gang from FOLD Focacceria are now conveniently located in the next door arch and will be providing the Italian bakery goods to keep us going through the afternoon. Welcome to Brussels Street, amici!

Alongside the wonderful resident DJs whose music you’ve enjoyed over the last couple years, this time we’re also very excited to unveil our own house band, Sharkey Group, who will be joining us for each session. Led by our old friend Chris Sharkey, the band will be a rotating trio, in a slightly different guise each month. Anyone who enjoyed their low-slung, groove-heavy set at our final party at the Attic last month will be pleased to see them back – this time with Scarlett Baxter on drums and Toby Freeman on bass.

As usual we’ll run from 1-9pm as the sun catches our south-facing yard. Seating inside and out. Featured wine by the glass, with a deep list from the cellar by the bottle. Food until sell-out, music from start to finish.

61 Brussels Street, LS9 8AB, just under the bridge around the corner from Sarto & the Wardrobe. All welcome!
