Summer Sundowners 2025 Shop Tasting

Each year, as the end-of-summer rays begin to show themselves, we reflect on the season past and those wines that stuck in our memory. As is tradition here at Wayward, we’ll be celebrating those wines at our annual Summer Sundowners tasting on Thursday 18th September. Think citrus, flowers, fruits and freshness, these are the bottles we’ve been throwing in the ice bucket and reaching for again and again.
We’re very happy to be featuring our very own Wayward Imports at this tasting, small growers that we work with directly. Growers who make highly distinctive, honest, thoughtful wines that have been crafted with care. Many of the bottles we’ll be pouring on the evening have just about sold out, but we have saved a handful just for this occasion.
Expect bottles from Thomas Puéchavy, Vinyes Singulars, Le Mazel, Martin Hirsch, La Vrille Et Le Papillon & Petite Nature. As usual, the tasting is free to attend, drop by anytime between 5-10pm to taste through the selection. Stick around for a glass or two once you’ve picked your favourites – say farewell to summer in style.
Thursday 18th September, 5-10pm at our Chapel Allerton shop.
See you there!
