A Seasonal Party at the Attic
Consider it a prequel to the onslaught of merriment that is just around the corner. It’s not quite Xmas but it is Xmas-Adjacent...
Join us on SATURDAY 29th NOVEMBER when we return to @theatticleeds for another Wayward party, laudably crammed with wine, food, music and the undeniable potential for an excellent time.
As usual we will have the Attic bar completely taken over with a Wayward carte des vins fit for the occasion, many bottles big and small open by the glass and the usual slew of special rarities pulled from the cellar, served at the same price you’d drink them in our shop.
@eatyourgreensleeds return to defend your nourishment with an assortment of hearty fare on their well-greased snack bar. Be it early doors tea with the kids or sustenance to keep you going until we call time at the bar, they have you covered... think turkey or aubergine schnitzel with celeriac and sprout top remoulade, barberry sauce and pickles... and of course there will be oysters a-plenty.
Our house band return for an early-evening set with another ensemble of players, laying down some louche grooves in a fully improvised manner. Much like the wine on offer, they express themselves as they wish and posess an uncanny energy that leaves one in a state of quiet elation.
Then as we head later in to the evening we’ll turn it fully over to the turntables, which will be controlled by a gang of faces that will be familiar to you if you have ever popped down to one of our warehouse sessions. Souki Esterhazy, Verdine Etoria, Thea HD, Barry's Here, The Boogie Monster, Michael Upson and edv3ctor will be guiding you from relaxing afternoon selections to the nighttime dance.
As always our parties are free entry and open to all. We go from 3pm and welcome families with children for the afternoon and early evening, then from 7pm we’ll flip to a more adult vibe and turn the music up a bit...
