We work closely with over a dozen small, specialist importers to bring together our selection at Wayward. Additionally, we work directly with a number of small growers we’ve discovered ourselves on trips to France, Italy & Spain. We ship wine from these producers exclusively, and they make up the portfolio of wine we know as Wayward Imports. You can browse our Producers to get better acquainted, and to place an order. We also offer these wines to trade customers, so you may see them pop up here and there in other great wine shops, bars and restaurants around the country.
We are interested in wine from growers who are in tune with the land on which they work, employing organic or biodynamic practices to produce low yields of healthy fruit from unique vineyard parcels. This philosophy follows through to the cellar where the wine is made with as few additions as possible - in some cases none at all. We feel these wines best express the place they come from and the people that make them. They are the wines that we love to drink and we’re very proud to be bringing them into the UK. We hope you’ll enjoy them too.
