This is dark, medium bodied syrah with splash of grenache from the amazing limestone soils of Conca de Barbera. This undeniably excellent region is just west of Barcelona and the soils here really give the wines amazing freshness and lift.About Jordi Llorens
Jordi Llorens is one of the exciting new wave of Catalan producers we discovered through heady nights spent at the wine bars of Barcelona. He took over the reins of his family estate in the Conca de Barberà, a high altitude region to the west of the city, in 2008 and has been making notable wine using a host of both local and international varietals since.
