About the Wine
One of Bouju's signature domaine cuvées, this is Gamay from some of his oldest vines (80 years and counting) which are planted over volcanic soils of basalt. Ageing is in a mixture of old barrels and amphora. It has a little more structure to it than previous vintages and, while drinking superbly now, will reward the patient with a little cellar time. A vivid, fine-grained and electric wine that more than lives up to the hype.
