About the Wine
A light, bright and joyful wine made in the hills of Penedes by Emi Gomez Ventura. Emi farms small parcels of land of rescued old vines using intriguing grape combinations.
This, the first of his wines we have bought into the UK, is a Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon- unexpected to say the least! Fresh and juicy, the direct pressed Cabernet Sauvignon shows blackcurrant fruits against a backbone of 5-day macerated Chardonnay. It's uplifting, fun and immediate- perfect in an ice bucket this Summer.
