Fleshy, ripe Sauvignon that negates those grassy, underripe flavours whilst still keeping things clean and crisp. From Cheverny in the Loire, but classified as VDF as the appellation does not recognise wines made with 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Whilst certainly a slightly different expression, this is still something that will not be completely alien to those who enjoy white wines at this level from Touraine or Sancerre. Fantastic value to be found here, clocking in well below the £20 mark.
