Outsized litre format! The first vintage Christophe is harvesting from this plot — younger Pinot vines planted on schist and blue marl — a rather unusual soil for this part of Alsace. The grapes were macerated in whole bunches for 1 week before being pressed off to stainless steel tank for a 9 month élevage. Dark fruited and with a bit more generosity on the palate than his previous Pinots.
