Great value, everyday drinking bone-dry white. The character is lean; fruit is saline lemon, with a zesty, prickly acidity. Smoky and bread-y on the nose with added texture from extended time on the lees - the classic technique in this area to give this ordinarily neutral grape varietal. Very easy to get on with.
For those of you looking for the 'Le Verger' Muscadet - this is it, albeit with a new name and a nice little label makeover. 2019 marks their first vintage with official organic accreditation, and a move towards lowering the additional sulphites added to the wine.
