Cortese is the grape of Gavi, but here it sees something of a different expression. Tart lemons and green, underripe plum combine to create some proper mouthwatering acidity. It's rustic, unpolished and fun; a bit hazy and an unmistakable whiff of the funk. Everyday natural wine for the table.

Rounded and robust
This was an unusual white wine for us but we enjoyed it. Drank it with chicken but imagine it would pair well with spiced fish and cheese too. Will order again.
