Cellar +9’s Moises farms 12 hectares close to the cooling influence of the Mediterranean. Farming is 100% organic and wines are clean, un-messed with and refreshing. His Cartoixa (the local name for Xarel.lo) enjoys a short maceration on skins before being pressed off and fermented in stainless steel. We can't sing this wine's praises enough - in a blind tasting we might be inclined to think we were drinking a Savagnin from the Jura, such is the structured and bright stewed citrus fruit and faintly oxidative note of the wine's character. Incredibly good value for money and a vintage we hope will never come to an end!
