We're delighted to be able to offer a very small quantity of this wine from the 2012 vintage - not something you'll come across so easily! We first had the chance to try Bianco with a bit of age when a friend pulled out a bottle from their cellar that they'd forgotten about. The blend of Procanico, Malvasia and Vermentino had turned a deep amber colour and had achieved a real depth of flavour, with those nutty almond notes really coming to the fore whilst retaining the aromatic aspects. Savoury and structured with real richness and presence; you might say liquid gold! Le Coste wines have distinctive high acidity and it is in the context of drinking their wines that have aged a little that this aspect really delivers on its potential. This wine is in a great place right now and we don't have a lot of it. Put this alongside a more recent vintage and marvel at how far it's come.
