Cedric Garreau farms just under 3 hectares of vines around Beaulieu-sur-Layon and is not keen on expanding any further as he prefers to do everything himself (aside from the help with picking at the harvest). He is quiet and measured in his approach and this is reflected in his wines, not zany or wild, just delicious, beautifully made wines, full of fruit and freshness - made by nature, curated by Cedric.
A powerful, aromatic Chenin from soils of purple schiste. With beautiful honeyed fruit and vibrant acidity, it's a ripper. The thing that sticks most in our mind about this wine is that at the very end of its veeeeery long finish there is a final flash of something like a spicy ginger biscuit; a note often said to be found in some Anjou Chenin that is certainly waving from afar in this delicious wine.
